What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

Data collected from contact forms are used for the purpose stated when you will in the for and will use this information to contact you about your issue, or for telling you more about who we are and what we do. You can at any time ask us to remove your detail from our contact list by sending an email to info@get-it-right.com, with the subject REMOVE NL, and we will remove you immediately. Please make sure that the e-mail is sent from the e-mail address where you received a mail from us, or that you used when you filled-in in the contact form.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Who we share your data with

As a principle we don’t share your data with anyone, there is one exception. We cannot register you to write and exam with one of the Exam Institutes, unless we provide them with your name, surname and contact e-mail address. If you don’t want us to do that, you will have to contact the Examination Institute directly and organise your own exam!

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

How we protect your data

Data is captured in a locked databases and no one database contains all your data. Access to databases are strictly controlled and tested form time to time to ensure they remain secure. We have intrusion detection measure in place and will be notified if irregular access to databases are obtained.

What data breach procedures we have in place

Once a data breach is detected, the first thing we do is to remove the data from the server in question. We will immediately activate your security incident procedure, determening the extent of the breach, finding the cause of the breach, and implement corrective actions to remedy the situation, before data is restored to the platform.

If your data were (or possibly were) impacted by the breach, you will be notified of the following:

  • The fact that a breach occurred
  • The personal date that were (or possibly were) exposed
  • What we have done about the situation
  • Recommended action you need to take on your side.
  • Who to contact for further information about the breach

What third parties we receive data from

Only Examination Institutes will recieve personal data as defined by law.

Data about your use of our systems may be forwarded to our marketing and sales partners in anonymised fashion, for trending and analysis purposes.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

Targeted on-line marketing campaigns may use your data, so that we can show you only the products or services that you have an internist in.
